2) With thorax or lateral head supports: Guide the supports through the slits at the sides of the pad.
3) Attach the eyelets and close the twist lock (see fig. 87).
4) Push the pad under the supports at the sides (not illustrated).
5) Close the zip on the pad (see fig. 88).

7.5.1.5.1 Detaching and attaching the covers of the pads and pommel

INFORMATION
The manufacturer offers covers for the following components:
► Lateral head supports (see fig. 89, item 1)
► Lateral supports (see fig. 89, item 2)
► Thoracic supports (see fig. 89, item 1)
► Grabrail (see fig. 89, item 3; replacement see page 46)
► Hip supports (see fig. 89, item 4)
► Pommel (see fig. 89, item 5)
► Adjustable arm supports (not illustrated)
Detaching the cover
1) Remove the pads if necessary (see page 44).
2) Undo the hook-and-loop closure on the cover.
3) Remove the cover from the pad or pommel.
Attaching the cover
1) Covers with foam reinforcement on one side: Guide the cover over the pad so the foam-reinforced side of
the cover (see fig. 90, item 1) is on the outside of the pad where the screw heads are located.
2) Pull the end of the cover without a tab (see fig. 91, item 1) over the pad first.
3) Pull the cover with the tab over the pad (see fig. 91, item 2).
4) Fold the tab in and fasten the hook-and-loop closure (see fig. 92).
5) Attach the pads (see page 44).
