7.2.2.1.3 Four-point lap belt with plastic buckle

Adjusting the belt
1) Adjust the belt ends at the belt closure. Do so by loosening the belt ends in the buckle, adjusting the length
and pulling them tight (see fig. 30, item 1).
2) The length can also be adjusted in the three-slot mounting brackets. Do this by loosening the belt ends in the
three-slot mounting brackets, adjusting the length and pulling them tight. For strap placement: see fig. 31.
Using the belt
1) To open the belt, press the buckle from above and below (see fig. 30, item 2). Pull the buckle out of the clos­
ure.
2) Sit the user in the seat.
3) Fasten the belt using the buckle so you hear the closure engage.

7.2.2.1.4 Groin strap

The seating unit can be equipped with a groin strap that secures the pelvis in the seat for certain indications (see
fig. 32).
Adjusting the groin strap
The tension of the belt can be adjusted as follows:
• By adjusting the strap length at the two clip buckles on the back of the seat (see fig. 33, item 1).
• By adjusting the strap length at the two buckles on the thigh straps (see fig. 34, item 1).
Putting the groin strap on
1) If necessary: Open the clip buckles at the back of the seat and pull the thigh straps slightly forward (see
fig. 33, item 1).
2) Open the two clips (see fig. 34, item 1) on the thigh straps.
3) Sit the user down on the groin strap, then pass the thigh straps between the legs and outwards over the thighs
(see fig. 32).
4) Close the two clips on the thigh straps (see fig. 34, item 1).
5) If necessary: Pull the belt straps tight in the clip buckles behind the seat (see fig. 33, item 1) and fasten them.
6) The length of the thigh straps can be adjusted if necessary by pulling on the free ends of the two straps (see
fig. 34, item 2) in the belt buckles.
