Use
NOTICE
Overloading
Damage to the product due to user error
► Do not load the tray with heavy objects.
► No persons may sit or lean on the tray.
INFORMATION
Note that only one of the following options may be used at one time as they all attach to the same adapter on the
seat:
- Grab rail
- Arm supports, standard
- Tray
INFORMATION
Note that the tray may only be used when the seat is facing the direction of travel.
The seating unit can be equipped with a tray on which objects can be placed directly next to the seat.
The tray is mounted on the seating unit and secured against rotation.
The maximum allowable load on the tray is 3 kg.
Attaching the tray
1) If necessary: Remove the grabrail.
2) Sit the user in the seating system.
INFORMATION: If adjustable arm supports are being used, set them to their lowest height. For inform­
ation on adjusting the arm support height: see page 32.
3) Insert the tray into the adapters.
4) Press in the tripod springs on the left and right sides of the tray (see fig. 60, item 1).
5) Press the tray down until the tripod springs behind the release buttons engage (see fig. 60, item 2).
6) Push the release buttons and let the tray slide down until the bushings rest on the retainer (see fig. 60, item 3).
Removing the tray
1) Remove all objects from the tray.
2) Pull the tray up until the tripod springs behind the release buttons engage (see fig. 60, item 2).
3) Push the release buttons in (as with the grabrail, see page 31: see fig. 55).
4) Pull the tray out and up.
Adjusting the position of the tray
a) Adjusting the height
1) Loosen the Allen screws of the bushings on the frame using a size 4 Allen key (see fig. 60, item 3).
2) Adjust the height of the bushings. To do so, slide both sides of the frame upwards in parallel to the desired
height. When tightening, the bushings with frame must be positioned on the retainers at the desired height.
3) Tighten the Allen screws.
b) Adjusting the depth
1) Release the clamping lever under the tray (see fig. 61, item 1).
2) Slide the tray horizontally to the desired position (see fig. 61, item 2).
3) Tighten the clamping lever.
CAUTION! Do not pinch the user when sliding the product in. Ensure that the user's arms rest on the
tray and that the round cutout at the front does not press against the user's body.
c) Adjusting the angle
1) Release the clamping lever under the tray (see fig. 61, item 1).
2) Rotate the tray to the desired angle (see fig. 61, item 3).
3) Tighten the clamping lever.
