Use

7.2.2.1.1 Two-point lap belt with metal buckle, padded

Adjusting the belt
1) Pull the belt out of the plastic loop (see fig. 27, item 2).
2) Press the belt buckle firmly (see fig. 27, item 1) then pull the belt to the required length.
INFORMATION: Ensure that the belt extends for at least 20 mm beyond the buckle so that it sits
securely.
3) Secure the loose end of the belt by feeding it through the plastic loop (see fig. 27, item 2).
Using the belt
1) Open the belt buckle by pressing the PRESS button (see fig. 26, item 1).
2) Sit the user in the seat.
3) Press the belt tongue into the buckle until engages audibly.

Adjusting the belt
1) Adjust the belt ends at the belt closure. Do so by loosening the belt ends in the buckle, adjusting the length
and pulling them tight (see fig. 28, item 1).
2) The length can also be adjusted in the three-slot mounting brackets. Do this by loosening the belt ends in the
three-slot mounting brackets, adjusting the length and pulling them tight. For strap placement: see fig. 29.
Using the belt
1) To open the belt, press the buckle from above and below (see fig. 28, item 2). Pull the buckle out of the clos­
ure.
2) Sit the user in the seat.
3) Fasten the belt using the buckle so you hear the closure engage.
