CAUTION
Independent manipulation of the product
Injury due to faulty control or malfunction of the prosthetic system.
→ Manipulations to the product other than the tasks described in these instructions for use are
not permitted.
→ Do not damage the battery or separate the connection cables between the battery packs.
→ The product and any damaged components may only be opened and/or repaired by certified
Ottobock Myo-Service technicians.
CAUTION
Dirtying of the electrical contacts
Risk of injuries due to faulty control or malfunction of the prosthetic system caused by an
insufficient supply of power to the prosthetic components.
→ Ensure that the contacts of the charging receptacle are always clean and free of grease.
→ Clean the electrical contacts of the battery charger and charging receptacle regularly using
cotton swabs and a mild soap solution.
→ Avoid damaging the contact surface coating with pointed or sharp objects.

7 Recommended Laminating Instructions for the MyoEnergy Integral
The product can be positioned in the upper arm or forearm socket. The battery is secured
between the outer and inner socket according to space availability.
INFORMATION
The length of the flexible flat cable between the electronics and the charging receptacle can be
modified by carefully bending or folding it. Only light pressure must be applied when pinching
and sliding down the folded edge. If the flexible flat cable is bent in the opposite direction at a
spot where it has already been folded, serious damage can occur.
7.1 Laminating Instructions for the MyoEnergy Integral in the Upper Arm Socket
Under consideration of the physiological patient indications, as little weight as possible should be
placed in the forearm, so the most proximal positioning of the battery is desirable. Therefore, use
