Removing the fork legs
Installing the fork legs

Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tubes of both fork
legs.
I Universal oil spray

Press the dust boots back into their normal position.

Remove excess oil.
Finishing work

Install the fork protector.

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.
Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.

Remove the front wheel.

Remove screws
and take off the clamp.

Remove screws
and take off the brake caliper.
-
Allow the brake caliper and brake line to hang tension-free to
the side.

Do not pull the hand brake lever if the front wheel has
been removed.

Loosen screws
Take out the left fork leg.

Unscrew screws
Take out the right fork leg.

Position the fork legs.

✓ Bleeder screws
are positioned toward the front.
Info
The rebound damping is located in right fork leg
(red adjusting screw). The compression damping is
located in left fork leg
Grooves are milled into the side of the upper end of
the fork legs. The second milled groove (from the top)
must be flush with the top edge of the upper triple
clamp.
