Pull oil filter
out of the oil filter housing.

Lock ring plier (51012011000)
-
Completely drain the engine oil.
-
Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surfaces.
-
Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to
about½ full with engine oil.
-
Fill the oil filter with engine oil and position the oil filter in the
housing.
-
Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover and mount it with the oil
filter cover @.
-
Mount and tighten the screws.

Stand the motorcycle upright.
-
Remove the oil filler plug (3 with the O-ring from the clutch
cover and fill up with engine oil.

Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in
premature wear to the engine.

Install and tighten the oil filler plug with O-ring.
Danger
Danger of poisoning
inhaling them may result in unconsciousness and
death.

Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation
when running the engine.

Use an effective exhaust extraction system when
starting or running the engine in an enclosed
space.
-
Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
Finishing work

Check the engine oil level.
