Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand.(..- p. 11)
Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand.(..- p. 11)
Main work

Shift the transmission to idle.

Check the rear sprocket and motor sprocket for wear.
If the rear sprocket and motor sprocket are worn:

Change the drivetrain kit. (..- p. 96)

Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at
different chain positions.

Check the chain sliding guard for wear.
If the lower edge of the chain pin is at the level of or below the chain sliding
guard:

Change the chain sliding guard.

Check that the chain sliding guard is firmly seated.
If the chain sliding guard is loose:
