Restore
The saved configuration can be restored to a single device.
To restore a configuration to a single device:
1.
Connect to the DSC 301 HD device via front panel USB to a PC where the backup
configuration file resides.
2.
Select Restore... from the Device menu (see
Restore This Device from the device drop-down list. A Restore This Device
dialog box opens.
3.
Click the Open Backup File button on the Restore This Device dialog box. An
Open Backup File window opens (see figure 27).

In the Open Backup File window (see figure 27), browse to where the saved backup

Select the applicable configuration file (with a .extz extension,

The window closes after restoring, and a confirmation pop-up is shown briefly to
indicate the process is complete.
Update Firmware

Firmware can only be updated via the front panel USB connection.

Select Update Firmware (

Click the Continue button to disconnect from the device and continue with the
firmware update process. The Update Firmware to This Device dialog box opens.

Click the Open Firmware File button. An explorer window opens.
