If sufficient runway remains for a complete stop:
Airspeed ................................................... MAINTAIN SAFE AIRSPEED
Landing ....................................... LAND and STOP STRAIGHT AHEAD
Brakes ................................................................................ AS REQUIRED
If insufficient runway remains:
Airspeed ................................................... MAINTAIN SAFE AIRSPEED
Flaps .................................................................................. AS REQUIRED
If sufficient altitude has been gained to attempt a restart:
Airspeed .................................................................. MAINTAIN 76 KIAS
FUEL Selector ......................................... SWTTCH to tank containing fuel
FUEL PUMP ............................................................................... Check ON
MIXTURE .......................................................................................... RICH
ALT AIR ........................................................................................... OPEN
If power is not regained, proceed with power-off landing.
Proper action following a loss of power, depends on circumstances. If
the situation allows, flaps are nonnally fully extended for touchdown. If
power loss was caused by fuel exhaustion, power will not be regained after
switching fuel tanks until the empty fuel lines are filled. This may require
up to ten seconds .
