Exii and avoid /FR conditions as soon as practical.
The following feawres will become inoperalive if
there is a complete loss of MFD f' u nctionality:
• COM2 (yellow x'd but 121.5 MHz remains available)
NAV2
• GPS2
• GDL 69 SXM (Garmin Datalink - XM)
DME
• ADF
• ESP
If the GFC700 au1opilo1 was engaged prior to
MFD failure, ii will remain engaged in its current
lateral and venical modes. The modes cannot
be changed and if the autopilot is disengaged, iL
cannot be re-engaged.
Although the PFD should automatically go
display after an MFD failure, pressing the DTSPLA Y BACKUP button
ensures that the PFD reverts. Without automatic or manual reversion of the
PFD display, all engine parameters on Lhe EIS window would be lost.
