Settings to activate the shuttle ferry mode

The external switch for the shuttle ferry mode should be registered as "Other Sensor".
Note: When there is a FMD-300 with Radar mode activated in the same network, the
shuttle ferry mode is not available.
1. Select [Sensor Setting]  [Other Sensor], then check the checkbox for Other Sen-
sor to be used as the external switch.
2. Open the [Serial Input/Output] setting window of the EC-3000 to be used for the
shuttle ferry mode.
3. Activate the serial port to be connected the external switch for the shuttle ferry
mode, then select the Equipment ID selected at step 1.
In the following example, "Serial 05" is connected to the external switch for the
shuttle ferry mode (OTR005).
4. Click the [Details] button for the serial port
that was activated at step 3, then set the
output sentence as follows:
• [Data Source]: Equipment ID of the EC-
3000 to be used for the shuttle ferry
mode.
• [Formatter]: FEC/cclbk
5. To save the configuration, perform a consistency check, then save the configura-
tion data on the [Save and Sync] menu.
