Presentation Modes

This radar has the following presentation modes:
Relative Motion (RM)
Head-up:
STAB head-up: Head-up with compass-stabilized bearing scale (True Bearing)
Course-up:
North-up:
Stern-up:
True Motion (TM)
Land objects and sea are stationary. Requires compass and speed data.

Choosing presentation mode

By keyboard
Press the [MODE] key consecutively to select presentation mode desired. The
PRESENTATION MODE box shows the current presentation mode. (See the
illustration below.)
By trackball
Left-click the PRESENTATION MODE box at the top left corner of the screen to
select a presentation mode.
Loss of gyrocompass signal
When the compass signal is lost, "GYRO" appears in yellow-orange in the Alert
Box, the presentation mode automatically becomes head-up, and TT and AIS
targets, map and chart are erased. After restoring the compass signal,
"HEADING SET" appears in the Alert Box. Then, stop the alert with the [ALARM
ACK] key or the ALERT box and check the GYRO data.
Unstabilized
where the bearing scale rotates with the compass reading.
Compass-stabilized relative to ship's orientation at the time of
selecting course-up.
Compass-stabilized with reference to north
The radar image is rotated 180°. Graphics and relative and true
bearings are also rotated 180°.
