Record Analog Inputs to DAW with or without FX (Monitor Analog Inputs
through DAW)
Use these settings to record an external instrument, microphone or other source to a DAW.
This routing allows you to record the analog Audio In jacks to a DAW (with our without
Audio Input FX applied), and monitor the existing DAW track playback, the Record
Enabled/Armed track, and any effects on the Record Enabled/Armed track.

Note: In the DAW, monitoring of the Record Enabled/Armed track should be enabled (by
setting the track's Monitor setting to Enabled, On or Auto).
To apply an FX Chain to the Audio In signal and record the FX output signal, set the Analog
in FX parameter to Yes, and select an FX Chain with the "Analog In FX Chain" parameter.
Keyboard parts will not be recorded or monitored through USB.
Record Vocals Dry, Monitor with Reverb in "Headphone Mix" Only
Use these settings to record vocals to a DAW, allowing the vocalist to hear reverb in
headphones, but without recording the reverb to the DAW. This is useful for providing a
"comfort reverb" while recording, but maintaining a dry vocal signal in the DAW so that
different effects may be adjusted in the DAW during the mixing process.

Note: In the DAW, monitoring of the Record Enabled/Armed track should be disabled (by

select an FX Chain with the "Analog In FX Chain" parameter.
