Signals received from the USB Computer port can also be routed to the rear panel analog
Audio Out B jacks, the rear panel analog Audio Out A and B jacks, or nowhere by setting
"USB Input Dest" to "Out Pair B", "Out Pair A + B", or "None".
Analog In Dest
The "Analog In Dest" parameter determines the routing of signals received from the rear
panel Audio Input jacks. By default, "Analog In Dest" is set to "Out Pair A + USB", so any
signals received from the rear panel Audio Input jacks will be routed to the rear panel analog
Audio Out A jacks and the USB Computer port.
Signals received from the rear panel Audio Input jacks can also be routed to any combination
of rear panel Audio Out jack pairs and the USB Computer port by selecting the desired
"Analog In Dest" setting.
Analog In Level
The Analog In Level parameter controls the volume of devices plugged into the rear Audio
Input jacks, in combination with the front panel AUDIO INTERFACE section INPUT
GAIN knobs. The default setting of 0 dB should work well for most line level sources (such
as MP3 players). Adjust this parameter if the Audio Input signal is too quiet or too loud in
comparison to the sounds of the K2700.
Analog In Ns Gate
The rear panel AUDIO IN jacks have a noise gate that prevents low level system noise
from being heard in some cases (such as when nothing is plugged into these jacks, or when
something is plugged in but not being used). The Analog In Ns Gate parameter can be used
to turn the noise gate On or Off. Setting Audio In Ns Gate to Off is useful for monitoring
signals with a wide dynamic range (such as guitar). For example, when Analog In Ns Gate is
set to On, guitar notes may be muted before the note has fully decayed to silence. To prevent
the unwanted muting of low level signals, set Analog In Ns Gate to Off. If the AUDIO IN
jacks are not being used for low level signals, set Audio In Ns Gate to On to prevent extra
system noise.
Analog In FX
Set the Analog In FX parameter to Yes or No to enable or disable analog input effects. The
Analog In FX settings on this page apply in Program and Multi Mode. In Multi Mode, these
FX settings can be overridden for each Multi by using the Multi Edit Audio In FX page (for
details see

will be ignored, and the Audio Input FX settings in the Multi will be used instead.
