Analog In FX Dest
When the Analog In FX parameter is set to Yes, the "Analog In FX Dest" parameter appears.
The "Analog In FX Dest" parameter determines the destination of signals produced by the
selected Analog In FX Chain. By default, "Analog In FX Dest" is set to Normal, so any
signals produced by the Analog In FX Chain will be automatically routed to the same output
selected by the "Analog In Dest" parameter.
To record the Audio Input to a DAW without FX, but still hear the FX from the analog
outputs while recording, set "Analog In FX Dest" to "Analog Only".
Out Pair B Mode
When Out Pair B Mode is set to the default setting "Normal", the Audio Out B jacks are
used as a separate set of stereo outputs. When Out Pair B Mode is set to "Mirror Primary
Outputs", the Audio Out B jacks output the same signals as the main the Audio Out A jacks.
Audio Out S/M
The analog Audio Out A jacks are normally used as a stereo pair, outputting a separate left
and right signal. The K2700 can also mix stereo signals to a mono signal by plugging an
audio cable into the Left Audio Out A jack, and nothing into Right Audio Out A jack.
When Audio Out S/M is set to the default setting "Auto", the K2700 detects if cables are
plugged into the Left/Right Audio Out A jacks, and adjusts the output signal to stereo or
mono. When Audio Out S/M is set to Stereo, the K2700 does not detect cables, and the
Audio Out A jacks always output a separate left and right signal.
Audio Routing Examples
The K2700's analog and USB audio inputs and outputs can be routed in various
configurations to suit the needs or your recording or playback scenario. See below for
examples of audio routing configurations.
For details on using the front panel AUDIO INTERFACE section and rear panel AUDIO
IN jacks with various input sources, see
Note: When routing audio over USB to and from a DAW (digital audio workstation
software on a computer), the K2700 should be selected as the audio input and output device
in the DAW's Audio Preferences or Settings menu.
