Load Pads Prog
When Load Pads Prog is set to Yes, programs that have a Pads Program selected on the
Program Edit Common page will load the Pads Program when the parent program is
selected. When using Program Mode to play a single program at a time, set this parameter to
Yes to ensure that the selected Pads Program will be loaded.
When Load Pads Prog is set to No, programs that have a Pads Program selected on the
Program Edit Common page will not load the Pads Program when the parent program is
selected, and the Pads will instead use the existing Program on the Pads Program MIDI
channel. When using Program Mode for multichannel MIDI applications, setting this
parameter to No is useful for preventing MIDI channels from being used by a Pads program.
Blink Tempo
When the Blink Tempo parameter is set to No, the TAP TEMPO button does not blink.
When the Blink Tempo parameter is set to Yes, the TAP TEMPO button will blink in sync
with quarter notes of the system tempo.
Program Tempo
In Program Mode, each Program uses a tempo to set the tempo of the Program's Arpeggiator,
CC Sequencer, and tempo synced LFOs and effects.
When this parameter is set to Program, each Program will use its per-Program tempo setting
(either a specific BPM value, or the current System tempo BPM value). Per-Program tempo
settings are set on the Program Edit Arp page (see
When this parameter is set to System, per-Program tempo settings are overridden and all
Programs will use the current System tempo BPM value. For details on setting System
tempo, see
Note: This parameter only affects Programs in Program Mode. In Multi Mode, Programs in
each Zone use the Multi Tempo set on the Multi Edit Common page.
Drum Remap
When Drum Remap is set to None, no remapping takes place. When the Drum Remap is set
to GM, all Drum programs are remapped to the General MIDI (GM) drum map, a standard
drum map used in many keyboards and synthesizers.
Pedal Noise
Some piano Programs have a Pedal Noise feature programmed into the sound. This
parameter allows you to turn the Pedal Noise off if you prefer not to use it. If it is on, it will
only activate noise on those Programs that have been programmed to use it.
