4.2.1
Inverting the Detector
If the pipe network design requires that the sampling pipes enter the detector at the bottom, it is possible to
achieve this by inverting the detector. In this case the fascia must be inverted on the detector so that the user
interface has the correct orientation. The door must be moved to the other side of the fascia to allow access to
the electrical sockets and filter.
This is done as follows:
1. Place the detector on a flat surface with the back plate facing down.
2. Open the front door and remove the fascia. Refer to Sections 7.2 on page 80 and 7.4 on page 84 for
further information.
3. Take the top and bottom covers off. To do this, press the tabs marked A and B in Figure 4-6.
