N After starting the engine, the red seat belt warning lamp lights up or flashes. A
warning tone may also sound.
Only for certain countries: the red seat belt warning lamp lights up for a maximum
of six seconds after the ignition is switched on.
The seat belt warning lamp reminds the driver and co-driver to fasten their seat
belts.
