Operation with residual current-operated protective device

If a residual current-operated protective device is installed, then the converters will
operate subject to the following pre-requisites without switching-off :
n
An FI safety switch of tyoe B is used.
n
The switch-off limit of the FI safety switch is 300 mA.
n
The neutral conductor of the network is earthed/grounded.
n
Each FI safety switch supplies only one converter.
n
The output cables are less than 50 m in length (shielded) or 100 m (unshielded).
WARNING!
Residual current-operated protective switches must offer protection against DC
components in the residual current and be suitable for short-term discharge of
power pulse current peaks. It is recommended that the frequency converter
should be separately fused. The regulations of the respective country
(e.g. VDE regulations in Germany) and of the regional energy suppliers are to
be observed
