Configure the initial parameters

Configure the initial parameters
Use the following procedures to configure the initial parameters for the BCM50 using Telset
Administration:
• "To enter the keycodes" on page 156
• "To configure the IP subsystem" on page 156
• "To configure the modem" on page 157
• "To select the region" on page 157
• "To select the template and startDN" on page 158
• "To initialize voice mail" on page 158
• "To create user accounts" on page 158

To enter the keycodes

Enter Login.

Enter Password.
4 Press NEXT to scroll through the menu and highlight Feature Codes.
5 Press OK.
6 Press NEXT to scroll through the list and do one of the following:
a If you want to enter keycodes to activate features, highlight Feature List.
• Press SHOW to view the available features.
• Use the softkeys to activate features for your system.
b If you want to modify existing keycodes, highlight Keycode.
• Press SHOW to view the keycodes.
• Use the softkeys to modify existing keycodes for your system.
Refer to BCM50 Keycodes Guide (N0027153) for details on how to retrieve and enter the
keycodes for your system.

To configure the IP subsystem

Enter Login.
3 Enter Password.
4 Press NEXT to scroll through the menu and highlight IP Address.
5 Press OK.
Use Telset Administration to set the basic parameters
