Press CHNGE to modify the IP settings. The display screen shows if DHCP is enabled or
disabled.

Do one of the following:
a
If DHCP is currently enabled:
Press DIS to disable DHCP. You will have the option to modify the IP Address, Subnet
Mask, and Default Gateway. However, these settings will have no effect as long as the
system is disabled.
Press IP to modify the following IP settings:
— IP Address
— Subnet Mask
— Default Gateway
b If DHCP is currently disabled:
Press ENL to enable DHCP. The system must reboot to enable DHCP.
Press IP to modify the IP settings. You will have the option to modify the IP Address,
Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway. However, these settings will have no effect as long as
the system is disabled.

To configure the modem

Enter Login.

Enter Password.

Press NEXT to scroll through the menu and highlight Modem.

Press OK. The display screen shows if the modem is enabled or disabled.

Do one of the following:
a
If the modem is disabled, press ENL to enable the modem.
b If the modem is enabled, press DIS to disable the modem.

To select the region

You set the Region using Feature **PROFILE.
Please refer to your Norstar documentation for information on using Telset Administration to set
this parameter.
