Troubles
Laser is emitted at
unintended timing.
Date is reset.
A USB flash drive cannot
be recognized.

Causes
Photoelectric sensor for marking trigger
signal malfunctions.
Internal battery has run out.
• A USB flash drive with a security
function is used.
• The file system selected when
formatting the USB flash drive is not
appropriate.
• The connector of the USB flash
drive is dirty.
• The laser marker was launched with
the USB flash drive connected.

Measures
Fumes may cause malfunction of photoelectric
sensor for marking trigger signal.
• Install dust collector.
• Check that dust collector works well.
Contact failure may also be a cause of this
symptom. When laser marker have been in use
for five years or more, internal battery is easy to
run out.
Contact our sales office for replacement of
internal battery.
• USB flash drives with a security function
cannot be used.
• Use a USB flash drive formatted with FAT32.
• Clean the connector according to the
procedure in the instruction manual of your
USB flash drive.
• Insert the USB flash drive after the activation
of the laser marker is completed.
