TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
Touch interactivity is slow.
There's no sound when you play
an audio file.
Locating the interactive flat panel serial number
If you need to contact SMART Support, you will need to provide SMART Support with the
interactive flat panel serial number. The serial number is located in three places:

Cause
The connected computer's video
display card is defective.
The connected computer is
running too many applications.
The connected computer doesn't
meet SMART requirements.
You haven't used a USB 2.0 cable
to connect the interactive flat panel
to the computer.
The connected computer's
playback device isn't set correctly.
The SMART kapp iQ Pro 55 or 65
interactive flat panel's audio input
isn't set correctly.
The connected computer is muted. Turn off the mute setting.
The connected computer's volume
is too low.
The interactive flat panel is muted.
The interactive flat panel's volume
is too low.
Solution
Connect a different computer to the
interactive flat panel. If this improves the image
quality, consider replacing the video card in the
original computer.
Close some open applications.
Upgrade the computer or replace it with another
computer that meets system requirements.
Use a USB 2.0 cable and ensure it's connected to
the correct USB receptacle (see page 20).
Ensure the connected computer's playback device
is set as the interactive flat panel (see the
connected computer's documentation).
Ensure the board's audio input is set as the
computer's audio connector. See Audio Input in
Sound menu options (
support.smarttech.com/docs/hardware/kapp/kapp-
iq-pro/en/installing-and-maintaining/using-the-osd-
menu/default.cshtml).
Turn up the volume on the computer.
Turn off the mute setting using the front control
panel.
Turn up the volume using the front control panel.
