Using software to set threshold value
The sensor can be set to read in different modes (standard default = threshold). In threshold mode the
gap sensor value must change by a least the value set in the gap threshold setting
Refer to operation manual for details for description of different gap sensor modes

The label gap sensor, mounted behind the thermal
head area can be adjusted for correct label
detection.
There are three areas which will affect the gap
sensor reading and the values it produces
1.
Use machine software to set threshold value
(default value = 800)
2.
Change jumper J5 position (default = B)
3.
Adjust trimmer pot TR3 on I/F sensor board
In the machine software (Worldview), the label
gap sensor values and setting page can be
found at:
Service menu / labeller setup / service / sensor
On this page the actual sensor values can be
seen (gap sensor value) and the gap threshold
value set.
The gap sensing mode can be selected
In 700 console software the sensor settings are
in two places. The gap sensor mode is in the
service menu / labeller / general settings - gap
detection type.
The gap sensitivity reading and the threshold
value is in service menu / labeller / ADC & gap
