2.2.2.2 Bypass Mode

If the inverter does not start or is manually shut down after the UPS is powered
on, the bypass supplies power to loads. The UPS automatically transfers from
normal mode to bypass mode if it detects power unit overtemperature, overload,
or other faults that may cause the inverter to shut down. The bypass power supply
is not protected by the UPS which means it may be affected by mains outage, and
incorrect AC voltage or frequency.

2.2.2.3 Battery Mode

If the AC input voltage is not normal, the UPS transfers to battery mode to obtain
power from batteries. The inverter then converts the power into AC outputs.
