Information on Disposal for Users of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

This symbol
on the product and/or accompanying documents means that used electrical and electronic products should not be
mixed with municipal waste .
If you wish to discard electrical and electronic equipment, please contact your CareFusion affiliate office or distributor for
further information .
Disposing of this product correctly will help to save valuable resources and prevent any potential negative effects on
human health and the environment which could otherwise arise from inappropriate waste handling .
Information on Disposal in Countries outside the European Union
This symbol is only valid in the European Union . The product should be disposed of taking environmental factors into
consideration . To ensure no risk or hazard, remove the internal rechargeable battery and the Nickel Metal Hydride battery
from the Services Board and dispose of as outlined by the local country regulations . All other components can be safely
disposed of as per local regulations .

1 . Remove the eight Screws
and Washers
securing the Rear Cover Assembly to the Power Base Module .
2 . Open the Cover Assembly by hinging along one long face . Avoid stressing the connected cables and lay the Cover along side the
assembly .

3 . Disconnect the Battery
and remove from saddle slot .
