Replacement Procedure
1 . Remove the eight Screws
2 . Open the Cover Assembly by hinging along one long face . Avoid stressing the connected cables and lay the Cover along side the
assembly .
3 . Disconnect the Speaker (J11), RS232 Cable Assembly (J14) and Barcode Reader Cable Assembly (J15) .
4 . Disconnect Grey Ethernet Cable Assy (J9) and the Services Ethernet Cable Assy (J3) .
5 . Disconnect the Earth Services Cable Assy (J16), the Service Power Cable Assy (J2) and the Services LVPS Cable Assy (J1) .
6 . Disconnect the Wireless LAN Card

7 . Remove the six Screws
8 . Remove the Services Board
9 . Remove the current Compact Flash (CF) Card from the slot on the Services Board, as required .
10 . Reassemble in reverse order .
11 . Perform the software installation as per the procedure provided with The CF Card .
Refitting Note:
• Ensure the Wireless LAN card and all cable connections are pushed fully home .
• Torque Screws to 45 cNm .

power up initialisation sequence .
• It is recommended that all Compact Flash Cards are purchased directly from CareFusion, as the use of Compact
Flash Cards purchased from any other source may invalidate the warranty . Please contact CareFusion Technical
Support for further guidance .
• All variants of the Workstation are compatible with the 512mb Compact Flash Card .
• When fitting new service boards, a new Compact Flash card is required .
