Tile Module/Mounting Bar - Earth Continuity Test
1 . Fit a high current probe to the enclosure lead .
2 . Firmly apply the probe point to one of the module tile plate mounting screws .
3 . Perform the Earth Continuity Test .
4 . Repeat the test for each tile plate mounting screws in turn .
5 . Carefully apply the probe point to one end of the tile mounting bar .
6 . Perform the Earth Continuity Test .
7 . Repeat the test for each tile mounting bar in turn .
Note: Ensure that, in all cases, the resistance to earth of any continuity test does not exceed 100mΩ .

IEC Outlet Earth Pin - Earth Continuity Test
1 . Connect the enclosure lead to the Tile IEC Earth Point via the Earth Connection Test Lead, part number 1000JG00238
2 . Fit the test equipment to the rear IEC Mains Outlet .
3 . Perform the Earth Continuity Test .
4 . Repeat the test for each IEC Mains Outlet and each tile IEC Outlet in turn .
Note: Ensure that, in all cases, the resistance does not exceed 100mΩ .

Second Electrical Safety Test

Earth and Enclosure Leakage Current Test
Ensure all Earth Continuity Tests and the Insulation Resistance Test results pass before proceeding with the Earth and
A
Enclosure Leakage Current Test .
1 . Connect an AC Mains supply to the Workstation using an IEC Mains Lead and ensure that the Mains connected LED is illuminated .
2 . Test each IEC outlet in turn using the test jig 1000JG00237 and ensure the socket tester LEDs DO NOT illuminate .
3 . Push the On/Off keypad button to turn the Workstation on a wait approximately 30 seconds .
4 . For software 1 .1 .6 version wait for the system to fully boot up before moving to the next stage .
5 . Test each IEC outlet in turn using the test jig 1000JG00237 and ensure that all LEDs ARE illuminated .
6 . Remove the AC power lead and replace it with the safety tester AC Test Power Cord . Ensure that the Enclosure lead is still connected
to the PE point on the rear side of the Workstation . Ensure that the Battery LED on the front panel Keypad is illuminated: If the battery
LED is flashing or not illuminated then the unit will be required to be charged for ½ hour by re-inserting the AC power lead before
proceeding .
7 . Complete the full test sequence .
8 . Print the test results as required .
9 . Disconnect the safety Tester from the Workstation .
10 . Power down the Workstation
