3.3 Coding settings

Access:
► Select "Baseband > DVB-C > Coding".
The tab provides settings for coding.
Settings:
Symbol
Constellation................................................................................................................. 21
Roll
Symbol Rate
Sets the symbol rate.
In the transmission spectrum, the symbol rate represents the 3 dB bandwidth.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:DVBC:SYMBols
Constellation
Defines the constellation.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:DVBC:CONStel
Roll Off
Displays the roll-off factor.
The output signal is filtered with a root raised cosine characteristic. The 3 dB point of
the modulation spectrum is the same for all alpha values.
