7 CONNECTIONS
IMPORTANT: first connection
operations must be performed
by a specialised and authorised
technician.

7.1 WATER CONNECTION

Drain
A water drain (1) with siphon must be prepared
near the machine.
The drain siphon must be positioned
at least 7,9 in below the bearing
plane of the machine.
Connect the drain hose (12) to the connection (13)
of the drain tray and secure it with the appropriate
clamps.
Connect the other end of the pipe to the previously
prepared drain pipe (1).

The equipment is to be installed
with adequate backflow protection
to comply with applicable federal,
state, and local codes.

The machine must be mandatorily
connected to water mains supplying
drinking water properly softened
with a maximum hardness of 3.5/5
French degrees (60/85 ppm). Check
that the supply pressure does not
exceed 6 bar (87 PSI). If pressure is
greater, install a pressure reducer.
Intake
Intake (for the version with built-in pump)
- Connect the intake pipe (7) to a softener (8) with
the supplied impurity filter (9) between them
- Before the softener (8), install a shuttering tap (10)
to separate the water system from the machine.

Intake (for the version with external pump)
On request, the pump can be installed outside rather
than inside the machine acting as follows:
Position the pump away from heat
sources and water jets. The bearing
plane must be horizontal and
correctly dimensioned to support the
weight.
