COMMISSIONING

8.1 FIRST START-UP

IMPORTANT: first start-up operations
must be performed by a specialised
and authorised technician.
- Open the water supply tap upstream of the
machine.
- Open the steam supply, turning the knob (5) anti-
clockwise.
- Power on the machine and move the circuit
breaker upstream of the machine to ON.
- Turn the main switch (6) to "1", light (7) turns on to
indicate that the circuit is live, the displays light up
and the automatic filling program starts.
If automatic filling does not take
place within 120 seconds, the
machine stops and the keys above
the units light up and flash.
Check that the water supply tap is
open.
Turn the machine off and on again
to complete the water intake in the
boiler.
- When the boiler reaches the filling level and the
pump switches off, turn the main switch to position
"2" and wait for the machine to warm up.
- Wait until air mixed with water comes out of
the steam dispenser, then close the steam tap
previously opened.
- Dispense water from the units, without fitting the
filter holders, press one of the buttons (A), (B), (C),
(D), (E), (F, G only for 7-key version) located on the
front button panels (9), checking that water comes
out properly, venting any air bubble present in the
circuit. •
Press the same button again to stop
dispensing.
- Wait until the set steam temperature indicated
on the display (8) is reached, check on display
(8) that the boiler pressure is approx. 1 - 1.2 bar
(14,5 - 17,4 PSI) and on the pressure gauge (13)
that the water supply pressure from the mains does
not exceed 6 bar (87 PSI).
