Verify the Connections

Perform the steps below to verify the connections
between the Maintenance PC and the Controller.
1. To verify the serial connection:
a. In the VT-100 emulator, press RETURN.
b. If the serial connection is installed and
programmed properly, a right-pointing arrow (→)
is displayed when you press ENTER.
2. To verify the Ethernet connection:
a. From the PC, PING the Controller's RTC IP
address (default is 192.168.1.2).
b. If the Ethernet connection is installed and
programmed correctly, the Controller replies to the
PING.
