3. Using four self-tapping screws (1), mount the Gateway PSU (2) onto an appropriate structure in the
location designated on your custom site map.

4. Plug the Power Cable (15) connected to the Gateway PSU (2), into an available power outlet
on-site.
NOTE: The Ethernet Cable (14) will be connected in a later step.
Installing the Permanent Power Cable
Only a certified electrician can complete the power supply installation. Make sure all
power sources are disconnected before performing any maintenance or service.
WARNING
Always follow all national and local electrical and safety regulation for your area.
1. Disconnect and remove the temporary Power Cable (15) from the Gateway PSU (2) as shown in
Figure 2-2, page

2. Remove the installed cable gland (31) from the Gateway PSU (2) as shown in
3. Replace the removed cable gland (31) with an outdoor rated conduit fitting.
4. Run outdoor rated #14-12 AWG cable through the conduit fitting to the terminal block connections
as shown in
Figure 2-2, page
5. Connect the outdoor rated cable to a circuit protected by a 15 Amp circuit breaker.
