– Measure: Disconnect the elec‐
trical power supply to the
device before opening the
housing and secure to prevent
unintentional reconnection
– Disconnect damaged or defec‐
tive devices or devices that
have been tampered with and
prevent unintended reconnec‐

– The provision of a suitable iso‐
lating device (emergency-off
switch, etc.) is the responsi‐
bility of the plant operator
The signal leads of the

side interference-prone cabling.
