– Measure: Ensure the electrical
power supply to the device is
switched off and secure to pre‐
vent switching back on
– Ensure the electrical power
supply to damaged, defective or
otherwise tampered with devices
is switched off and secure to pre‐
vent switching back on
– The provision of a suitable iso‐
lating device (emergency-off
switch, etc.) is the responsibility
of the plant operator
The signal leads of the

must not be routed alongside faulty
cabling. Faults could lead to malfunc‐
tions of the DULCOMETER
