Mounting the transmitter

The transmitter can be mounted in the following ways:
• Wall mounting
• Pipe mounting (with separate mounting kit, accessories → ä 46)
Caution!
• The ambient temperature range (–25 to +60 °C; –13 to +140 °F) may not be exceeded at the
mounting location. Avoid direct sunlight.
• If a warm pipe is used for the installation, ensure that the housing temperature does not exceed
the max. permitted value of +60 °C (+140 °F).
Mount the transmitter as illustrated in → å 21.

Post-installation check

Perform the following checks after installing the measuring device in the pipe:
Device condition and specifications
Is the device damaged (visual inspection)?
Does the device correspond to specifications at the measuring point, including
process temperature, process pressure, ambient temperature, measuring range,
etc.?
Installation
Are the measuring point number and labeling correct (visual inspection)?
Process environment / process conditions
Are the inlet and outlet runs respected?
Is the measuring device protected against moisture and direct sunlight?
