Major function
This detects temperature of gas pipe for air
heat exchanger. Used to exercise the constant
control of superheated degree when an
evaporator is used for outdoor unit heat
exchanging.

Detects suction pipe temperature.
Detects liquid pipe temperature of outdoor
heat exchanger. Used to judge defrost ON and
defrost OFF operation.
Detects compressor suction pipe temperature.
Detects gas pipe temperature of receiver.
Detects compressor body temperature. Acts as
safety for overheated operation of
compressor.
Service port – dual gas pipe to field dual gas
piping
Service port – low pressure gas pipe to field
low pressure gas piping.
Service port
Serves as a storage for not-required refrigerant
at partial capacity. Prevents liquid back to the
compressor.
Serves as a liquid receiver.
During transportation, storage or stand-still, if
pressure > 4.0 MPa, this valve opens to
balance pressure inside the unit, to prevent
any equipment damage due to pressure
increase.
Sub-cools liquid refrigerant in cooling mode.
Cools the PCB, through cooling plate, cooled by
refrigerant.
