3.4.2 Repair procedures
To remove the crankcase heater

3 Connect the Megger ground test lead directly to the crankcase heater ground
wire.
CAUTION
Do NOT connect the Megger ground test lead to any other ground wire.
4 Measure the insulation resistance between the phase and ground wire. The
measured insulation resistance MUST be >100 MΩ.
Is the measured insulation resistance
correct?
Yes
No
Prerequisite: Stop the unit operation via the central controller.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
1 Remove the required plate work, see

Confirm the rectifier voltage is below 10 V DC before proceeding, see

2 Open the compressor insulation.
3 Detach the spring that fixes the crankcase heater on the compressor.

4 Cut all tie straps that fix the crankcase heater harness.
5 Disconnect the crankcase heater connector from the appropriate PCB.
6 To install the crankcase heater, see
