Common Commands

ABORt
Aborts a measurement in progress, returning the instrument to the trigger idle state.

Abort the measurement in progress: ABOR
*CAL?
Transfers the calibration values to the instrument channels. This calibration is automatic and can take
up to 1 hour. Returns a 0 (zero) when successful, and an error code otherwise.
IMPORTANT Remove all connections from the CAL connector on the rear panel of the
BT2152A/B before performing the channel calibration.

Initiate transfer of calibration values to channels: *CAL?
The unit must pass self-test, which is run at the start of channel calibration. If self-test (*TST?) does

not pass, channel calibration will abort.
The unit must be warmed up. A warm up time of 1 hour is required before the unit can be calibrated.

The Ready light must be green, otherwise *CAL? will abort.
If channel calibration fails, an error will be placed in the error queue with the channel number that

failed along with measurement information detailing the issue. Use
