Alignment adjustment
This alignment is a fine mode adjustment that must be
adjustment described in 5.1.2 is completed. You cannot make an alignment adjustment
normally unless a focus adjustment has been completed. If you cannot perform an
alignment adjustment properly, restart adjustment steps at focus adjustment,
Following two type of set screw driver are requierd for alignment adjustment.
the light bulb B alignment
off the light from light bulb R. (same manner as mentioned focus adjustment)
the power switch on to display the green and blue screens.
Superimpose the mesh pattern that is projected onto the screen from light bulb B
on the screen for light bulb G by following the steps (1) through (3) below.
(I) Tighten screws (1) and (2) little by little in similar increments and make the
screens parallel in such positions that there are two lines of light bulb B screen
below the bottom of light bulb G screen.
(2) Adjust screw (3) so that the sides of screen are aligned with those of light bulb
G screen.
(3) Tighten screws (1) and (2) little by little in similar increments and align the
screen on light bulb G
*Since a lager projection actually is formed on screen B than on screen G because of
aberrations, screen B overlaps screen G by from
