Focus and Alignment Adjustment
Since the focus of the light bulbs R, G, and B varies with their layout, whenever a light
bulb block is replaced or disassembled, it is necessary to adjust the position of the light
bulbs.
This adjustment is performed using the position of the light bulb G as the
reference position.
The focus and alignment adjustment procedure to be conducted varies depending on
the position and the type of the replaced light bulb.

When you replaced or disassmbled the light bulb G, it is necessary to adjust light bulb B
and light bulb R, even if you don't care light bulb B and R.
Prep
5.1.1
Perform
steps 1 to 11 given below to determine the adjustment conditions.
1. Remove the upper case unit (see Subsection 3.2.2).
2. Remove the shield plate (secured by two screws together with the driver board block)
(see Subsection 3.2.2).
3. Set the spacing between the projection lens unit and projection screen to 2.4 m (for
60-inch screen) (see Figure 5-l).

4. Remove the lens cap.
5. Turn the zoom ring fully clockwise.
6. Remove the light bulb FPC cables from
located on the driver board. If you have a adjusting
the driver board then plug the tool. ---Adjusting tool enables for power on without
driver board.
7. Turn on the POWER switch.
