9. Servicing

9.1 Intervals

We recommend having all ser-
vicing and repair work carried
out by Weinmann or an autho-
rized dealer.
For hygiene reasons we recommend:
• Replacing the pressure measurement tube
if dirty;
• Replacing the complete mask system every 6 to 12 months depending on
soiling;
• Replacing the expiration system in accordance with the relevant operat-
ing instructions.
As a preventive maintenance measure, the device should also be serviced as follows. Either:
• after 5000 operating hours (service symbol
• or after a maximum of 2 years (see service sticker on back of device).
A service includes:
• Changing filters;
• Cleaning the device;
• Replacing any faulty parts;
• Replacing the battery;
• Full check on device functions and pressure indicator.
The two filters need to be checked regularly for soiling.
• You should clean the coarse dust filter once a week and
change it at least every 6 months.
• The fine filter must be changed at least every 250 oper-
ating hours.
