Hose system
• The corrugated hose WM 24120 (grey) can be autoclaved in devices
complying with EN 285. Temperature: 134 °C, minimum residence time
3 minutes.
• The corrugated hose WM 24130 (transparent) can be cleaned in water
at up to 70°C. Sterilization is not permitted.
• As a disinfectant we recommend GIGASEPT FF.
• The procedure for disinfection is the same as for cleaning.
• After disinfection, all parts must be thoroughly rinsed with distilled water
and dried.
• Allow the hose system to drip dry. Dry the hose system with the
SOMNOsoft +, as described on page 19ff.
Accessories
When disinfecting or sterilizing the exhalation system, mask, bacteria filter and humidifier,
please observe the chapters on "Disinfection and sterilization" in the relevant operating in-
structions.

6.4 Change of patient

If the device is to be used for another patient without using a bacteria filter, it must first
undergo a hygiene procedure. This must carried out by Weinmann or a specialist dealer.
The details of the hygiene procedure are described in the
instructions.
