EN Functional Control
Carry out a functional control after every use(or
at least every 2 years if not used). If you discover
faults during the functional control, you must not
use the emergency case again until the faults have
been rectified. Carry out the functional control as
follows:
1. Check whether the inserts, cover plate, ampoule
strips, corners of the case and the case handle
are free from damage.
2. Check that the case fasteners can be opened
and closed easily.
3. Check the case and cover plate hinges. They
must move easily and be fixed in place correctly.
Replace faulty parts.
Emergency cases are maintenance-free. The dead-
lines for the regular functional control must be
complied with, however (see "6 Functional Control"
on page 10).
We recommend having any repair and maintenance
work completed by the manufacturer WEINMANN
Emergency or other qualified professionals.
Risk of infection due to contaminated parts
during maintenance work!
The device, accessories and other parts may be
contaminated and infect technicians with bacte-
ria and viruses. Parts sent in which are obviously
contaminated will be disposed of by WEINMANN
