5.2 Auto switch-on

Activating auto switch-on

2. Release the Softstart button
3. Briefly press the humidifier button
The current auto switch-on setting "A 0" flashes in the display.
4. Press the On/Off button
If no button is pressed for 5 seconds, this display disappears and the display again shows
"0".
If auto switch-on is activated, you can switch the SOMNOsoft + on or off by means of
either the On/Off button
Note:
If an oronasal mask with integrated emergency exhalation system is used, the device does
not switch on/off automatically even if setting "A" is selected. The anti-asphyxia valve of
the mask means that the device is unable to detect the change in pressure required for
switching.
• SOMNOsoft + will now be switched on automatically as soon as breath-
ing through the mask starts (pressure > 0.5 hPa).
• When the mask is removed, the device switches off after 5 seconds.
