5.5 Change of patient
1. Dismantle mask.
2. Wash mask in hot water using a mild
detergent (e.g. washing-up liquid) so
that no residues remain before disin-
fecting or sterilizing.
3. Subject mask to a hygiene treatment
(see table).
4. Use new headgear.
6 Function check
6.1 Intervals
Perform a function check after every hy-
giene treatment.
6.2 Procedure
If the forehead cushion becomes
discolored, this does not affect its
function.
1. Check all parts for soiling and damage.
Replace parts if necessary.
2. In the event of leaks due to damage,
replace the nasal pillow.

7 Servicing
The mask requires no servicing.
7.1 Storage
The mask may only be stored under the
ambient conditions described (see "Tech-
nical data" on Page 22)
7.2 Disposal
Parts which are no longer usable can be
disposed of with domestic waste.
