OPERATION
5.
Take off hoop portion (2) from hook (3).
6.
With hoop portion (2) taken off from hook (3), return lever
(1) to original position (4).
7.
Hold knob (5) and pull up the engine hood.
8.
Push stay (6) in the direction of the arrow and set it in
LOCK position (7) securely.
METHOD FOR LOCKING ENGINE HOOD
1.
Hold knob (5) and support the engine hood.
2.
Push stay (6) in the direction of the arrow, and remove
stay (6) from LOCK position (7).
3.
Check that stay (6) is set in guide groove (8), and then
lower the engine hood.
Do not lower the engine hood forcibly while stay (6) is
not set in guide groove (8). If you do so, stay (6) may
be deformed.
Do not release knob (5) until the engine hood is low-
ered fully.
