  • Page 13 FOREWORD SAFETY SAFETY Safety Notice IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE Proper service and repair is extremely important for the safe operation of your machine. The service and repair techniques recommended and described in this manual are both effective and safe methods of operation. Some of these operations require the use of tools specially designed for the purpose.

Remove all mud and oil from the steps or other places used to get on and off the machine. Always use the handrails, lad- ders or steps when getting on or off the machine.

    FOREWORD GENERAL GENERAL This shop manual has been prepared as an aid to improve the quality of repairs by giving the serviceman an accurate understanding of the product and by showing him the correct way to perform repairs and make judgements. Even if the residual pressure is released from the hydraulic tank, some hydraulic oil flows out when the hose is disconnected.
