10.3. Use of ferrite cores

In order to connect the genset, one of the ferrite cores supplied must be used for the line and neutral wiring. Turn
each wire around twice, as indicated in the following figure.

10.4. Auxiliary genset connection process

Follow the steps below according to the inverter hardware type.
Hardware type A: TT system
1.
Loosen the cable gland marked Genset, remove the protective cap and pass the cable through it.
2.
Install the ferrite core supplied by Ingeteam, turning the line and neutral wires around it twice.
3.
Insert the respective wires in the J55 Genset push-in type terminals, respecting the polarity. The
operation of this type of terminal is described in "7. Connection/disconnection of wiring in push-in type
terminals".
4.
Correctly tighten the packing glands to prevent losses to the protection class, verifying that the wiring is
not taut.
Hardware type A: TN system
